 Polyamide (PA, nylon Nylon)
 Nature crystalline thermoplastic plastic, a clear melting point, Nylon6 Tm of 220 ~ 230 ℃, Nylon66 was 260 ~ 270 ℃, Nylon with a water-based absorbent, be dried before molding, high temperature drying the nylon grain discoloration (decomposition temperature are about 410 ℃)

 Advantage

 1, with high tensile strength
 2, tough, impact resistant Premium
 3, self-lubricating, wear resistance, excellent chemical resistance
 4, good low temperature properties
 5, with self-extinguishing

 Shortcoming

 Nylon high moisture absorption, long-term dimensional accuracy and physical properties affected.


 Uses Electronics: Connectors, reel, timer, cover circuit breakers, switches, seat shell Automotive: Cooling fans, door handles, fuel tank cap, air intake grille, radiator cover, lamp holder Industrial parts: Seat, Cycling transportation box, skates base, textile shuttle, pedal, slip transmission


 Saturated polyester terephthalate (PET)
 Nature of the crystalline thermoplastic plastic, a clear melting point 245 ~ 260 ℃, at room temperature with excellent mechanical properties and abrasion, wear performance.  But low Tg the poor thermal mechanical properties, are generally added to improve heat resistance and glass-mechanical properties, such called FR-PET.

 Advantage

 2, excellent mechanical properties
 3, small creep
 4, good electrical properties
 5, excellent weather resistance
 6, resistant to organic solvent, oil and weak
 7, gas resistance, good water resistance
 8, with self-extinguishing

 Shortcoming

 1, the mechanical properties is directional, high mobility
 2, the crystallization speed is slow
 3, drying, and processing conditions demanding


 Use of electronic appliances: breaker, rectifier, spools, hair dryer vent, chimney spools car: electrical equipment components, fenders, brake handle industrial parts: the cooling fan handle


 Saturated polyester terephthalate (PBT)
 The nature of high crystalline thermoplastic plastic, melting point 220 ~ 230 ℃, the crystallization rate faster than PET.

 Advantage

 1, stability and mechanical properties of tensile strength and tensile modulus similar to nylon
 2, the friction coefficient of a self-lubrication
 3, low water absorption
 4, excellent electrical properties
 5, good dimensional stability
 6, chemical resistance, excellent oil resistance

 Shortcoming

 1, Tg (30 ℃) low, the load under the HDT of 60 ℃
 2, poor impact strength, glass fiber reinforced generally used for the FR-PBT

 Uses Electronics: No fuse breaker, solenoid switches, Flyback transformers, appliances handles, connectors, housings car: door handles, bumper, distributor plate covers, fenders, wire retaining shell, wheel cover industrial parts : OA fan, keyboard, fishing reel parts, lampshade

 Polycarbonate (PC)
 Non-crystalline thermoplastic properties

 Advantage

 1, high strength and elastic modulus, high impact strength, wide temperature range
 2, the high degree of transparency and freedom of dyeing
 3, HDT high
 4, good fatigue resistance
 5, the weather resistance
 6 excellent electrical characteristics
 7, tasteless and odorless, harmless to human health and safety
 8, forming low shrinkage, good dimensional stability

 Shortcoming

 Poor design is easy to produce molded internal stress problem

 Uses Electronics: CD tablets, switch, appliance housings, signal tube, telephone Automotive: bumper, Distributor, safety glass industrial parts: the camera body, equipment enclosures, safety helmets, goggles, safety glasses

 Polyacetal (POM)
 Nature of the crystalline thermoplastic plastic, a clear melting point 165 ~ 175 ℃, nature closest to the metal, generally referred to as plastic

 Advantage

 1, high mechanical strength and rigidity
 2, the highest fatigue strength
 3, environmental resistance, excellent resistance to organic solvents
 4, strong resistance to repeated impact
 5, wide temperature range (-40 ℃ ~ 120 ℃)
 6, good electrical properties

 8, with self-lubricating, wear good
 9, excellent dimensional stability

 Shortcoming

 1, If ??the long process from the thermal decomposition under high temperature

 Shortcoming

 Polyamide imide (PAI)

 Ethyl ring polyethylene terephthalate (PCT)
 Nature of melting point 250 ℃, crystal, gray to dark yellow, often by adding fiberglass for application.

 Shortcoming

 High moisture absorption, desiccant before processing

 Use

 Polyether ketone (PEEK)
 Nature melting point up to 334 ℃, Tg point 143 ℃, the highest rate of crystal 48%
